The first step in taking care of the skin of your face is to carry a daily facial care routine with natural cosmetics; if you have read my free course for beginners you will know that cleansing, toning and nourishing the skin is essential.
Carrying out this daily routine is important, but you can also do a slightly deeper cleaning. But thoroughly cleansing the skin does not mean using aggressive ingredients but finding those natural ingredients that can do that cleansing effect while being delicate and gentle. It is essential to understand that the skin is a living organism and that its functions are vital not only for our skin but for our body. The moment you become aware, you start looking at your skin differently. In my case, over time, I have learned to respect the skin of my face and have discovered natural ingredients that can gently and gently cleanse the skin of the face.
INGREDIENTS TO CLEAN THE FACE NATURALLY
I’m going to share with you a prescription for facial powder. It is a simple recipe to make and whose only secret is the combination of 3 types of natural ingredients. Most of these ingredients can be found in a herbalist or supermarket.
The clays are perfect for thoroughly cleaning the skin for its ability to trap impurities, and also help to remineralize the skin. Choosing a suitable clay for your skin is the basis for making your facial cleanser powder.
I recommend using white clay if you have normal or mixed skin, green clay if you have oily skin and acne, and pink clay or ghassoul if you have dry and sensitive skin.
Some different herbs and flowers will help you gently cleanse the skin. You can find them in herbalist shops. All you have to do is turn those flowers or herbs into powder to incorporate them into the cleaner. Also, these flowers or herbs will give a natural aroma to your cleanser.
Flowers such as lavender or pink are suitable for any skin type. Calendula, chamomile or mauve flowers are recommended to care for damaged and sensitive skin. If you have oily or mixed skin, you can use hamamelis, lemongrass, mint, millennial or thyme.
HARINAS OR FOOD POWDER
Oatmeal, almonds, rice, chickpea or rye can be used to cleanse the skin on your face. It’s much better to use wholemeal flours because they retain all the nutrients in the plant. Oatmeal and rice flour are suitable for sensitive and irritated skin and also in case of acne. Rye flour has antioxidant properties, and chickpea flour will bring luminosity.
You can also use foods such as milk powder, coconut milk powder or cocoa powder. In this case, they must be pure without any mixture or additives.
RECIPE FACIAL CLEANSING POWDER
The recipe I share with you is one of the many combinations you can make. Choose one or more clays, one or more plants and one or more flours or powdered foods. Feel free to make the combinations you want.
To help you, my recipe is as follows:
- 4 spoons Ghassoul clay
- 1 spoon dried chamomile flowers
- 1 spoon dried lavender flowers
- 1 tablespoon oatmeal powder
- 1 teaspoon cocoa pure powder 100%
The most important thing is that you turn all the ingredients into an excellent powder.
Crush the flowers into a grinder along with half the clay and flour in a grinder. There must be an excellent powder left.
Place in a bowl and add the rest of the clay and cocoa. Mix very well.
Pack in a glass canister.
The idea is that you make this cleaner and keep it so that you can use it whenever you need it.
Store this cleaner in a place away from moisture and light. When using the cleaner, it prevents moisture from entering the glass canister. If you follow these tips, you can keep the cleaner in perfect condition for 6 months.
TIPS FOR USING FACIAL POWDER CLEANSER
The facial cleansing powder can be done once a week if you have mixed or oily skin, and if you have dry or sensitive skin, it is better to do this cleansing every 10 to 15 days.
To do facial cleansing, place a small amount in your hand and add some water, an infusion or a hydrolase and create a paste, put a small amount on your fingers and clean your face in concentric circles. Rinse and dry.
It is important that at the end of cleaning you use a tonic that balances your skin and a moisturizer or vegetable oil. I have dry and sensitive skin, and after facial cleansing, I like to use rose hydrolate and to restore calendula or jojoba oil skin. You can also use a restorative serum for sensitive skin, and if you have oily or mixed skin, a facial gel to repair the skin like this recipe.
