A Little Glue History…

You know that our fix everything par excellence: Feviquick or the magic glue of the Gothic was mistakenly born 67 years ago, on March 6, 1949, Harry Coover a chemist from the Eastman-Kodak company was hired to create plastic sights for the rifles, that during the time of the famous World War II.

During this investigation he came across a material: Methyl Cyanoacrylate, he was supposed to be looking for a transparent material suitable for the plastic sights of the rifles, but made a good mess; this material adhered to all of which made it almost impossible to work with him.

9 years later during another investigation he ran into this material again and saw the light; he had discovered a new type of adhesive, one that revolutionary the market because it did not need pressure, heat or any condition to dry with only tiny particles of water such as natural moisture that coats things to affect its adhesive power.

Exactly in 1958, Kodak came up for sale this wonderful invention. The Super Glue became so famous that it was even used in precarious situations in the Vietnam War to glue fabrics without stitches.

The Feviquick has been used in places you wouldn’t believe in 13 aircraft parts such as wings and turbines have been used to maintain their lightness.

Additional has been used in the aerospace industry, in trains, in Smartphone and even in formula one carts, thanks to its great adhesive power and resistance, in addition to its rapid drying. Feviquick is undoubtedly one of the most revolutionary inventions in history.

Remove Feviquick from your skin

It is normal when we manipulate Feviquick that it is a little attached to our skin if you let the situation follow its normal course it can take days to disintegrate. But if you have urgency and do not want to walk with your fingers full of Feviquick, do not worry. I will tell you the most feasible ways to eliminate in a few minutes and with a lot of patience, the Feviquick specifically attached to the skin.

The Feviquick is Acetone. It depends on where it falls on the skin or mucous membranes you can remove the Feviquick or any other acetone super glue with nail polish remover. So if you don’t have it, it will cost you just around 20 rupees, that if you don’t buy a natural nail polish remover or something, you can remove Feviquick from your skin.

Note: Do not use nail polish on cuts or wound, Avoid using polish apart from fingers.

SPECIFICALLY ON THE SKIN

If it is directly on the hands and non-delicate parts of the skin treat the problem at once, do not despair, try not to pull the residue. Soak the area in acetone and with cotton gently rub until it comes off, almost all of us have acetone in the house to be straightforward to fix. Remember acetone.

Another way to get rid of your hands is to put some cream (some use margarine to hydrate, but we recommend cream) in the affected areas and let it act for a few minutes, then with a nail file scrape gently to take off the residue. Always be patient, don’t despair.

The situation is totally different if it falls into the OJO mucous membranes always consult with your doctor in these cases, but do not worry or despair. I will tell you as if it does not fall so invasively in them can counteract it.

Remove Feviquick SPECIFICALLY ON THE LABIOS

It may take a couple of days on your lips to remove it, but if you want to speed up the process, take a bag of hot water moistened tea, wait for it to warm up and place it over the area where the glue has fallen, leave it for a few minutes or until I cooled down and repeat the process. Don’t ingest or try to rip off Feviquick residue with your teeth or fingers; you’ll do a lot of damage and even painfully ditch your lips.

Feviquick on Floors & Tables

Here it will depend a lot on the type of surface, but the procedure is the same: ACETONA, remember that this substance is very abrasive and if the surface has been chemically coloured the colour may come off. It can be used in cars, almost all floors and wooden tables gently. I rub cotton with enough acetone and then with a razor blade, or spatula is scraped so that the residues of Feviquick are tached. This procedure can also be used for plastic but remember that it is a strong abrasive, if the plastic has been coloured, it may lose some of that colour.

Clean Feviquick on Glass

The Feviquick is not indicated to be used on the glass, only some specialized versions but will be removed very easily, this clear if you do immediately drop the drop. Soak the area with water if you can not immerse it in water because it is huge, place a cloth quite moistened on it and leave to act for a few minutes, then delicately try to release with a spatula or shaving leaves, if they are still hard soak again until it softens a little more.

Remove Feviquick from Wood

If the stain is too small with a cloth and hot water can be polished so that in the end it disappears some use alcohol or even a heat source, another way is with an excellent blade or grain sandpaper, polish the Loctite or Feviquick until it reaches the paint or varnish. You have to be very careful because wood is a material that can be scratched easily.

Then you can try acetone to soften and with the blade rag or sandpaper gradually remove

.

I imagine you’ve been hoping to know how to remove from your favourite Jeans that hard Feviquick stain that even with thousands of washes comes out, I won’t lie to you is not easy, but we can disguise it enough you will need an old and acetone toothbrush.

You will take the garment and soak the area with acetone and with the brush gently rub, do it front and back invest time and patience in this work. It may not disappear completely, but it will fade almost imperceptibly.

If the Feviquick has fallen on any surface do not abuse it basically in these cases you have to arm yourself with patience, acetone, tea, warm water, soap, moisturizing cream or baby oil.

NEVER use it invasively on the skin although during the Vietnam War it was used to close wounds, it was therefore precarious of the situation.

Always see a specialist if you notice an unfavourable reaction or were ingested by young children, adults or the elderly.
