What Is A Tubular Battery?

The tubular battery runs on the latest lead-acid battery technology. This is an improved version of the flat plate battery where the positive plates are substituted with tubes made of fiberglass and a cloth covering for protection. This enhances its efficiency, reduces maintenance, provides an uninterrupted power supply, and makes it last longer than a flat plate battery.

Tubular batteries are of two types based on their size – short and tall tubular batteries. A short tubular battery is ideal for smaller homes and has a capacity around 60Ah to 180Ah, whereas the capacity of a tall tubular battery is between 110 Ah and 220 Ah.
